Hello! My name is Elise Schaub and I am from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. I am a freshman at UNC Chapel Hill majoring in Human Development and Family science with a minor in Journalism. I have been passionate about Women’s education for a long time and have been involved in my aunt's new nonprofit called “Just Girls World.” I have led community-based projects and have had experience working in low-income schools. I have a role in a girls' council and a women’s wellness group and now hope to expand my community involvement during my time at Carolina. My goals now as a part of Circle of Women include similar experiences serving as a supportive mentor to at-risk youth, making an impact for schools in need, and modeling the importance of activism to bring about positive change.

The Director of Fundraising is responsible for coordinating fundraising efforts with each chapter of Circle of Women, as well as private and corporate donors. She helps each chapter and the organization as a whole develop long-term fundraising plans.
