PUblic Relations - Sahar Mohammadzadeh
Harvard University, Class of 2022
Sahar is a freshman at Harvard studying Government with a secondary in Economics. She is originally from Lexington, Kentucky, and found her passion working in education while working with the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. As one of the founding members of the Committee’s Student Voice Team, Sahar visited several counties across the state to research and interview students to better understand the state of postsecondary transitions in the realm of public policy. She and her team recently published Ready or Not: Stories from the Students Behind the Statistics, a book that features young people from across Kentucky sharing their perspectives on continuing their education after high school by addressing a range of themes: the ACT, rural and urban cultural pulls, parent and teacher support, counseling, and college affordability.
She is excited to bring her experience in advocacy and communications to Circle of Women in 2019 to increase education access to not just the state of Kentucky, but to women all across the world.
